Events of Academic year 2018-2019



1. Induction Programme Date- 06/08/2018
The induction programme for B.pharm students of the academic year 2018-19 was held on 6 th August 2018. On occasion of induction programme we invited Dr.Mahesh Burande sir as a chief guest and Mr.Vaibav Tambe sir as guest of honour. The program is inaugurated by lamp lighting done by Dr.Mahesh Burande, Mr.Vaibav Tambe, Mr. Rajiv Patil and Principal Dr.Pramod Ingale. Principal Dr.Pramod Ingle welcomed all the students. He informed about the college infrastructure, scope of B.pharm and career opportunities in pharmacy field. The orientation Lecture was conducted by Ms.Pallavi Vahwal Assistant professor Dnyanvilas College of pharmacy, she detailed the students about the objectives of the B.pharm course, course content, and examination pattern and interacted with new comers and guide them for their future. The programme was ended with vote of thanks delivered by Ms.Swati Gite.


2. Sadbhavana Diwas-20/08/2018
Sadbhavana Diwas is celebrated on the 20 th August every year to commemorate the birth anniversary of the erstwhile prime Minister of India, Shri Rajiv Gandhi. On the occasion of Sadbhavana Diwas Dnyanvilas college of Pharmacy, Dudulgaon organized Sadbhavana pledge.


3. Induction Programme D.Pharm-20/08/2018

The induction programme for D.Pharm students of the academic year 2018-19 was held on 20th August 2018. On occasion of induction programme, the inaugural speech was delivered by Dr.Pramod Ingle. He told about the importance of programme, course content, College infrastructure and various career opportunities in pharmacy. The orientation Lecture was conducted by Ms.Swati Gite Assistant professor Dnyanvilas College of pharmacy, she detailed the students about the objectives of the D.Pharm course, course content, and examination pattern and interacted with new comers and guides them for their future. The programme was ended with vote of thanks delivered by Mr.Swapnil Kale.


4. Raksha Bandan-24 Aug 2018

Dnyanvilas college of Pharmacy celebrated Raksha Bandan festival with great enthusiasm. On the occasion of Raksha Bandan we invited Army person as guest .Students and some staff members tied rakhi on the wrist of army persons and beautiful environment of joy and love was made.



5. Teachers Day-5/09/2018

The programme started at 5 p.m in the evening. The programme was hosted by Miss.Samiksha Gargote. All teaching and non-teaching staff felicitated by students as well as principal and management Board which is followed by cake cutting ceremony.



6.Tree Plantation-6/09/2018

On 6 sep 2018 we successfully complerteed the tree plantation activity.as we all know that whole world is facing the problem of global warming and to recover from such problem planting a trees is become one of the most important ascepyts today.



7. Ganesh Festival-13/09/2018 to 19/09/2018

The Institute celebrated the auspicious Ganesh Festival with great enthusiasm and spirit. The festival started with sthapna of Ganesh Ji on Ganesh Chaturthi by Dr.Pramod Ingle, Principal, DVCOP in the temple beautifully decorated by the students of B.pharm. The Satyanarayana Katha was planned on the 5th day of the celebration, followed by Mahaprasad for all the staff and students. On the 5th day, visarjan was done bidding a heartfelt good bye to Ga.



8. Awareness of Eco-Friendly Ganesh Virsajan (Ganesh Idol Donation activity)-19/9/2018

Dnyanvilas college of Pharmacy had organized a Ganesh idol Donation Activity and Awareness of Ecofriendly Ganesh Visarjan at Indrayani Ghat Alandi on 19th Sep 2018.The main aim of this activity was to promote Eco-friendly practices during Ganesh festival was to promote awareness and understanding about the spiritual and cultural ideas behind ganpati pooja. Celebrating the festival in an eco-friendly way can help to avoid adverse effect on the environment.Eco-friendly Ganesh festival help for preserving the city water and the environment. This programme was a step towards environmental conservation through water preservation.



9. World pharmacist Day-25/09/2018

Dnyanvilas college of Pharmacy celebrated World pharmacist Day on 25th Sep 2018.The students and faculty members took the ‘Pharmacist Oath’ collectively to remind their role towards the society and health care system. Students of pharmacy wearing white apron with banners in hand started a rally which went through Alandi and ended at college campus. Following the rally was a small skit performed by students which was based on theme ‘pharmacist: your medicine Expert’.



11. Fresher’s Party-27/09/2018

The DVCOP extended a warm welcome to the First year D. Pharm and B.Pharm students through “Fresher’s Party-2018. The function started with Saraswati Poojan and lighting of the lamp by Principal Dr. Pramod Ingle and senior faculty members. The program proceeded with welcome address students volunteer .The function was continued with a number of games, dance, songes and entertaining tasks to be performed by the fresher’s. The function ended with felicitation of Mr. and Ms. Fresher’s 2018 and delicious lunch.



12. Vachan Prerana Diwas-15 /10/ 2018

Vachan Prerana Diwas is celebrated on 15th of Oct every year to commemorate the birth anniversary of the erstwhile president of Dr.APJ Abdul kalam. As DVCOP determined to develop the students Overall personality had organized the Vachan Prerana Diwas on 15 Oct. The event has surely helped all the Students encourage and motivate them for reading technical as well as non-technical books in the era of Internet. Programme was concluded with vote of thanks.



13. National Unity Day- 31/08/ 2018

Rashtriya Ekta Diwas or National Unity day is celebrated every year on 31st Oct in India to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel who played a great role in unifying the country. National unity day was introduced by govt. of India in 2014. A no. of activities was organized all through the day to support the cause of promoting unity and celebrating Rashtriya Ekta Diwas in college premises. All the faculties and students had collectively taken unity oath. Finally programme has concluded with vote of thanks.



14. World AIDS Day- 01/12/ 2018

World aids day 2018 was celebrated on sat, the 1st 2018 Dec. The 30th World AIDS Day was celebrated across the world under the theme, ‘Know Your Status’ DVCOP organized an event on World AIDS day and took the oath and urged people to not discriminate people living with HIV and behave with them as a normal human being.



15. Swachh Bharat Abhiyan- 17 /01/ 2019

DVCOP organized cleanliness drive under Swachh bharat Abhiyan on 17th Jan 2019. The main purpose of program was to create awareness among the students regarding cleanliness and its benefits. As the Swachh bharat Abhiyan launched by prime minister on 2nd oct.2014 with throughout length and breadth of the country a national movement. The campaign aims to achive the vision of clean India by 2nd Oct 2019. All the students of B. Pharm and D. Pharm had participated and all faculty members were essential part of this drive. On this occasion Mrs.Priyanka had given the information regarding the online participation of peoples in Swachh Bharat Abhiyan by using Swachha-moHUA app. Finally the programme was concluded with vote of thanks.



16. Women Welfare Programme- 24 /01/2019

On the occasion of National Girl’s Day on 24th Jan 2019, DVCOP had organized a session for all the girls of D. Pharm and B. Pharm with the teachers, staff which was conducted by Dr.Punam Kela. “Women Take Care of Yourself” is one of the encourageous steps of DVCOP towards creating a better present and future was the aim of women welfare programme. The workshop was organized with an aim of spreading awareness of self hygiene within the budding young females. The session was concluded with a promise that all young females are a gift of god to the society and by implementation of self hygiene and safety; they shall protect and take care of not just themselves but also of their friends and family in order to cherish and maintain the gift they are to society and themselves.



17. National Voter’s day -25/01/ 2019

On 25th Jan 2019, the national voter’s day is being celebrated across the country to promote the electoral participation. On this occasion every voter excepted to take National Voter day pledged for ethical electoral participation. DVCOP celebrated National voter day with the view to promote democratic electoral participation. The programme began with inspirational speech of Dr. Pramod L. Ingle. He also gives idea about voter helpline app and promotes young students for online registration of voter ID card.



18. Industrial Visit- 31/01/2019

Dnyanvilas College of Pharmacy organized an Industrial Visit for students of First year D. Pharm. On 31st Jan 2019 at Nulife Pharmaceutical, Chinchwad, Pune. The visit started with presentation by HR department of Nulife pharmaceuticals about company’s growth and status. The students visited different department and sections of Pharma industry like QC, QA, Dispensing, Manufacturing, packaging etc. The various large scales Pharma manufacturing equipment and its applications were observed by students. This helped students to correlate their theory with practical application in manufacturing field. The members of Nulife Mr. Rahul Gorad and Miss Shardhh guided the students about processing pharmaceutical products at various stages of visit to Pharma plant. The students were very happy and felt enriched after visiting a Pharma plant.



19. Cultural week- 04 Feb- 09 Feb 2019

The cultural week at DVCOP began on 4th Feb under the guidance of respected principal Dr. Ingle sir. The various days like Chocolate Day, Halloween Day, colour day, Twins day, Saree day, Tie day, and Retro day were celebrated by students with great fun and joy. During the Cultural week many other cultural activities such as Quiz, Rangoli, Salad Decorations, Mehandi and Drawing competitions was also organized by DVCOP. Last but not the least; the traditional day was celebrated in the college campus, where everyone dressed up at their best. Various fun activities such as bollywood antakshari and treasure hunt were also conducted. The cultural week came up to end with great fun and enjoyment.



20. TARANG- Annual Day and Prize Distribution – 16/02/ 2019

The TARANG-2019 endless waves to success and happiness, annual social gathering was organized by Dnyanvilas college of Pharmacy at Aradhana Hall, Alandi on 16th Feb 2019. The function was graced by the presence of Dr. P.D. Choudhari (Ex-Dean & Principal MCOP, Nigdi), guest of Honour Mr. V.K. Kubade (S. P. Dehu, Alandi traffic), Mr. R.P. Patil (Admin director SGMPS’s), and Mr. Mayur Dhamale (Treasurer). Dr. Pramod Ingle (Principal, DVCOP), presented Annual Report for the Academic Year 2018-2019.The prize distribution function includes appreciation awards for Sports, cultural and academic toppers. The events of the day-long programme included dance, musical skits, fashion show, drama, singing, etc. The concluding programme of TARANG was held by giving championship trophy to the students of D. Pharm which was depend on their performance in sports events, cultural events and on their performance in TARANG. The programme witnessed active participation and enthusiasm of students.



21. Marathi Rajbhasha Gaurav Din- 27/02/ 2019

In the Honour of Marathi language and birth anniversary of Dyanpeeth award winner poet late Vishnu Vaman Shirwadkar alias kusumagraj. DVCOP celebrated “Marathi Rajbhasha Gaurav Din” on 27th Feb 2019. The aim of cerebration of this day was to bring indigenous languages in the forefront. On this occasion there is small video presented by Mrs. Shruti Joshi regarding greatness and different sub-language of Marathi. After that Dr. Pramod Ingle (Hon. Principal DVCOP) has given short note on importance of Marathi language.



22. National Science Day- 28/02/2019
